Product Description |
| Stay COOL and breathe fresher air with our 12,000btu units. Ideally cools an area up to 400sq.ft. Effectively improves air circulation in poorly ventilated spaces and maximizes energy efficiency. Uses new UL required LCDI plug. Self Evaporating Technology during the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and make it run more efficiently, cooling as well as energy. Continuous drainage highly recommended when using Heating mode. Exhaust hose installation required and all standard accessories included. |

Made a Real Difference Economically

After looking at numerous options I selected this unit to provide cooling for a 300 square foot Florida room which runs around 95 degrees during summer afternoons. After four years of reliable service, this unit is still capable of lowering room temperature at least 10 deg on its' own and more with the help of a ceiling fan and air from the house. The only insulation on this room is in the ceiling.
I made a semi-permanent installation by attaching the exhaust hose to a dryer vent. I also installed a drain line, to eliminate having to empty the condensate tray in high humidity. Unit works nearly as well as ductless system at a fraction of the cost. In high heat conditions, taking the unit off of AUTO delivers better cooling. |

| I bought this two years ago when my wife was pregnant and we were having record heat waves and we were without A?C. It did the trick and two years later it still works like a champ. Haven't had any of the issues others posted about. This brings nice cool air into my room and shortly after I turn it on, about 20 min. the room is as cool as I want it. Good Luck! |
We bought 2!

| Last summer was the most humid in San Diego, CA I have ever experience in the 16 years I've lived here. My husband was working nights at the time and complained the heat was making it unbearable to sleep during the day. Our home is over 2,200 SF so running the air conditioner is NOT cost effective when there are only 2 people at home occupying 2 rooms in the entire house. I ordered this unit after doing extensive online research on several products. We did have to rig it on a couple of stepstools in order to get a larger collection bin for the water but it was only necessary for a few (extremely humid) days. The unit helped to reduce the temps in our 200 SF bedroom up to 7 degrees. But the biggest benefit was drying up the air enough to make sitting still (and sleeping) more comfortable. The unit is so effective we ordered another one to keep downstairs; it's toooooo heavy to lug up and down the stairs. The noise is insignificant since we fall asleep with the TV on and my only complaint would be set-up. It took us about 40 minutes to put it all together and configure the vent to the window. Of course, trying to set up while sweating your butt off creates more frustration. Love the remote, timer and wheels! |
Loud but cold

| Very powerful and cools well. Pretty loud when you first turn it on (and I love white noise) so I'd recommend turning it on before you're ready for bed so it will be at the lower (and quieter) fan setting (if on auto) once room is cooler. I love the timer and remote control options. Easy to set up. |
Works great!

| We heard these didn't work that well, but was forced to give one a try--have been very pleasantly surprised. It really cools the room! Have run it for almost two months and it hasn't needed draining yet. It is pretty noisy and we wish it had a lower fan setting, but all in all we're very happy with it. |
